In principle, IPOs, if they are to make sense, presuppose that the stock market candidate is attractive to the capital market. This can – which is widely unknown – also be the case for small and medium-sized enterprises. It is important that the stock exchange candidate chooses the right stock exchange segment. For small and medium-sized companies, the Open Market (Freiverkehr) is particularly relevant. The numerous regional stock exchanges sometimes offer very good conditions for certain industries or certain financial instruments.
