Lawyer Oliver Marc Prager*
Mr. Prager counsels financial service providers and small and medium-sized companies in the field of capital markets law. The focus of his work includes counselling companies on issues of banking supervisory law and in relation to applications for the granting of licences to provide investment services. In addition, Mr Prager provides comprehensive advice on questions of securities trading law, in particular in the area of trading in contracts for difference and other derivatives, as well as the routing of trading signals. In doing so, he covers all legal issues arising, in particular the drafting of contracts with clients and business partners, as well as the observance of all relevant obligations (compliance). A further area of activity is advising capital-seeking companies on financing issues, with the spectrum of activities ranging from the selection of possible financing instruments to the structuring of the instruments and the drafting of the underlying contracts and client documents, as well as support during the process of issuance.
Vita
Oliver Marc Prager, born in 1975, studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg and Cologne with a focus on commercial law. In addition, he studied economics in Heidelberg and completed his studies at the London School of Economics with a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Economics. Mr. Prager completed his legal traineeship in Bonn and Frankfurt/M., among others at the Deutsche Bundesbank. Since his admission to the bar in 2010, Mr. Prager has worked as an associate lawyer at mzs Rechtsanwälte. Since the end of 2017, Mr Prager has held the title of “Specialist Lawyer for Banking and Capital Markets Law”. This additional qualification was introduced by the Federal Bar Association in 2008 as proof of special knowledge and experience in these areas of law.
